What we learn

If you’ve never seen the 1988 movie Working Girl, you are missing out!.
There are many lessons we can learn from the film, but I am just going to stick to those related to the managerial issues. Whereas, the issue of a nasty female boss stealing someone´s ideas to her own benefit, the film is more than that. In fact the film is about being your self, be real and humble but astute. It is a happy ending film with a top boss (Mr Ford) who is capable enough to find out the real jewel. In life this happy ending is hard to find, and basically this is because most manager lack of Mr Ford´s ability to see and most importantly the guts to make the right choice.
